Staff Qualifications
All of our staff are required to participate in supervision with an experienced supervisor to ensure that clients are making progress and that strategies are consistent with Adapt’s service philosophy.
Therapists
Our therapists are required to have completed a Master’s degree in psychology, mental health counseling, marriage & family therapy, clinical social work, or a related field and to have at least 6 months of full-time experience providing therapy services. Many of our therapists are Florida licensed (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist), and most others are in the process of becoming licensed.
Behavior Analysts
Our behavior analysts are required to be certified by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board®. BCBA staff have a minimum of a Master’s degree and at least 1500 hours of supervised applied experience. BCaBA clinicians have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and at least 1000 hours of supervised applied experience.
Behavior Therapists
Our behavior therapists are required to have completed a Master's degree in a behavioral-health-related field, have completed at least 2 of the graduate courses required to be certified by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board®, have at least 500 hours of supervised experience, and are actively pursuing certification as a BCaBA or BCBA.
Clinical Supervisors
Our clinical supervisors are licensed (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist) and/or certified by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board® as a BCBA, and have extensive years of therapy and/or behavior analysis experience.
